New Book "Inspired Women Succeed" Highlights Christian Women in Business

CHRISTIAN WOMEN IN BUSINESS REDEFINING SUCCESS
A New Book Shows How You Can Too

Wichita Falls, TX – Today’s success-driven culture often puts a pressure-cooker demand on Christian women in business. Countless women struggle to succeed—to be, do, and have it all.

Whether we acknowledge it or not, the way we determine success greatly impacts our lives, according to the newly published book Inspired Women Succeed by Diane Cunningham and Jo Ann Fore.

As they seek to redefine success, the authors challenge readers, “What scoreboard determines true success? Must we be famous? Rich? Well-credentialed experts?”

My personal endorsement:

Nina Newton, Founder and Sr. Editor of Ruby for Women – a Christian social media site and online magazine - is one of the forty women featured. She has tirelessly worked to promote Christian women and their businesses, books, ministries, and life pursuits. Her role model is one that is to be commended and emulated in the Christian community. I am honored to know her and call her friend. You can read her compelling story along with many others in this one of a kind book.

This Chicken Soup for the Soul®-spirited book features a collection of 40 real-life inspirational accounts that are designed to prove success is an individual experience. “For Christian women, success is inspired from a sense of calling; measured by a loyalty to God in spite of life’s circumstances or outcome,” Cunningham said.

Co-Author Jo Ann Fore elaborates, “Inspired Women Succeed leads readers on an inspirational journey; a journey which teaches women how to entrust the hard spots of life to a sovereign God who has a plan. The book is about real women doing real life. Through a vulnerable transparency, the stories of this book offer women a permission to be real; to confront the tough issues of life with a new perspective. We want women to reframe life experiences which may have blocked their progress—those same experiences can be used as a catalyst to success.”

Inspired Women Succeed is a book of courage and hope. You will connect with forty, brave-hearted Christian women entrepreneurs who faced unfathomable trials with heroic faith. And this passionate group of women authentically shares their life-transforming stories.

Authors Cunningham and Fore model authenticity, as intimate details about the tough spots of their own lives are woven throughout a book that consistently recounts the transformation of difficult circumstances into a successful life—success on God’s terms, that is.

Guest Author Tisha Silvers & Her Book for Homeschoolers

Please welcome Author & Entrepreneur Tisha Silvers.

Tisha is a woman with an incredible array of talents. She is a homeschool mom, social media enthusiast, and owner of Tisha Silvers’ Services.  As a digital marketing consultant, she provides a blended marketing service that includes Internet marketing, search engine marketing, social media marketing, mobile marketing, local search marketing, local area marketing, and hidden assets marketing. She has creatively packaged these various forms of marketing into separate services as well as into one integrated marketing service.  She helps authors, solopreneurs, small business owners, and small groups/organizations get found online and locally through sound marketing strategies, as well as uncover hidden marketing assets that already exist inside their businesses to help them increase their bottom line without having to spend another dime on advertising.

In her book entitled "The Homeschoolers' Income Makeover", Tisha gives living examples of how people can employ what they already do for enjoyment/relaxation, what they naturally do because it's a part of their nature, as well as their even God-given talents, and turn all of those things into paying businesses. Her book contains impressive tools for starting and running a successful home-based business while tackling your God-given mandate to homeschool your kids.  She covers writing a business plan home-based and traditional businesses (template included in the Appendix), attending local economic development center workshops, as well as shares Internet-based strategies for success. She covers how to market your services or products effectively to maximize your promotional dollars.  Additionally, Tisha shares her secrets for success in this exhaustive reference tool for those individuals who want to both homeschool and oversee their own businesses simultaneously. She has page after page of practical and useful information, as well as many "live links" to dozens of invaluable websites, social media hubs, and Internet articles.”

Tisha's philosophy is: "When we conduct our businesses as marketplace ministry, we can expect our businesses to dominate in our respective industries because of the Daniel anointing of being 10Xs better than our peers (Daniel 1:20).  But, we must both expect and prepare ourselves for that to happen."

Here is a brief interview with Tisha:

Tell us a little about your background.
I'm a Christian homeschooling mom and entrepreneur. Operated a successful secretarial/virtual assistance business and put the business on hiatus in 2002 for an undetermined amount of time while I pursue my real passions of writing and providing great marketing services, which I do today.

What inspired you to write your book?
Some of it was from listening to other homeschooling moms vent their frustrations of trying to homeschool while operating a business because it was so hard. When others "chimed in" but with the idea that it would be easy to do both, then I spoke up on both the home school and home business issue of both were literally full time jobs that they were taking too lightly. From there, I explained what it's like to operate a "real" business and how to make a successful go of it, and the same "eye-opener" with homeschooling. The trick, though, was how to do "both" simultaneously. So between my personal experiences and tons of research, I was able to be compile "real" information that people could use. Many did.

What kinds of reactions has the book generated thus far?
Lots of positive responses with mostly identical reactions, which was they didn't know about the plethora of services (especially the free services) available to them, and they were very surprised that it was such an impact but easy-to-implement guide for homeschooling parents. Majority of the people called it "a step-by-step guide", which I hadn't thought of the book in that regards up until lots of people actually said the same thing.

What's the main message that you'd like readers to take away from it?
You can do this -- even if you're single. You can do it and be very successful. I seriously emphasize creating support teams for both your home school and home business. I share strategies and resources to help make that happen.

Any final thoughts you'd like to share?
Yes. Although the book was written with homeschooling families in mind, any person can take the business strategies in the book (and there are LOTS of it with examples), apply the strategies and see results, so you don't have to be a homeschooler to benefit from this how-to guide.

How can our readers learn more about you and contact you directly?
